MSSF Mendocino Woodlands Foray Schedule November 9-11, 2018

2:00pm - 11pm check in @ CAMP #1, Mendocino Woodlands.

4:30pm - 5:30pm Potluck Appetizers, (bring a dish to share!).

5:30pm - 7:30pm Dinner, (BYOB),(Leftovers saved for late arrivals until 10pm)

7:30pm – 8:00pm Announcements & Foray information (Dance Hall)

8:00pm – 9:00pm Christian Schwarz Presentation, (Dance Hall)

Foray Notes: There will be both long and short forays. The shorter educational forays will return earlier. The short educational foray lead by JR Blair and Paul Koski will be followed by an introduction to beginner identification of fungi.

7:00am – 8:30am Coffee & Breakfast available, (Staff & Vegetarians served first) & late check-in @ CAMP #1 Dining Hall

8:30am – 9:00am Make Pack Lunches

Self-Serve lunch station available in morning only, make your lunches immediately after breakfast

9:00am – 9:30am Forays Depart

3:30pm – 4:00pm Discussion at mushroom specimen tables with Camp Mycologist; Fred Stevens (Dance Hall)

4:00pm – 5:30pm Mushroom appetizer cooking demonstration by Andy & Gayle Still and company! (Mushroom Soup & Grilled Mushrooms)

5:30pm – 7:30pm Dinner, (A Fungal Feast!), (BYOB)

7:30pm – 9:00pm Taylor Lockwood Presentation & Announcements, (Dance Hall)

9:00pm Winning Raffle Number Drawn!

9:30pm – Late…. MycoMendoMondo, Hosted by Ken Litchfield & co. (Main Lodge)

7:00am – 8:30am Coffee & Breakfast available, (Staff & Vegetarians Served First)

8:30am – 9:00am Lunch station available. (Last chance to make lunches)

9:00am – 9:30am Discussion at specimen tables with Camp Mycologist; Fred Stevens.

9:00am – 10:30am Mushroom pop up event (outside Dining Hall, *weather dependent)

9:00am – 11:00am All participants clean their own cabins / check out and depart by 11:00am

--Beds & mattresses in place, (4 of each per cabin)
--Floor swept, (under the cots also)
--Entry stoop & balcony swept
--Fireplace free of trash.
--All trash brought to main camp.
--Broom returned to closet.
--Unused firewood brought back to main camp.
--All personal items removed from cabin.

11:00am - ….. Self-Guided forays on the way home.

NOTE-The MSSF will be billed for any unused firewood left in cabins and not returned to the wood storage rack at the dining hall by 11:00am on Sunday. MSSF members/campers not returning their unused wood can be billed for the wood and/or barred from future Mendocino Camp Forays
